The typical startup mantra of “move fast and break things” doesn’t work for the legal profession — and in our experience it’s not how transformative software is built. We’ve done high level work in law and technology, and we know how to push the boundaries of creativity and innovation responsibly, transparently, and securely, with respect for the care and professionalism our customers employ in serving their clients. From defending the Obama administration’s cornerstone achievements in federal court, to launching award winning AI-powered products to be used in surgery or in the delivery of life-saving vaccines, we have a proven track-record of delivering outsized results in high-stakes situations.

Julie is an entrepreneurial lawyer and published author, with over 15 years of experience practicing law at the US Department of Justice, the US Copyright Office, and in private practice. She has written published articles on technological innovation and the law, and she taught Legal Research, Analysis, and Writing at Georgetown Law. She has previously founded a reg tech startup and her own law firm. She is a graduate of Yale University and Michigan Law.

In addition to his technical skills, he has also demonstrated strong leadership skills, with experience leading both small and large teams of engineers.
